In regards to some failures using the Murphys/ARP2000 3/8 x 1 inch 12 point rod bolt. 

We have used over 1000 of these bolts. There has been 3 failures in JD applications in the last year or so. 

I still believe this bolt is up to the task, however I am altering the recommended torque spec. 

The new spec. is 600 inch pounds using specifically (CMD Extreme Pressure Lubricant) on the bolt.
